Mark Williams Design Associates

Mark Williams is a multidisciplinary design team consisting of designers with both Architectural and Interior Design backgrounds. The marriage of the two practices provides and underlying understanding of how the built environment and the objects which occupy it can, and should, balance one another.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science from the Georgia Tech College of Architecture, Mark Williams went on to study at the Ecole D’Architecture, Tolbiac in Paris. Upon returning to Atlanta, he worked for small and Large Architecture and Interiors firms until originating his first practice, Laslie-Williams, in 1998. In 2007, Mark opened a new kind of design collaborative, Mark Williams Design Associates.
With strong experience in single family residential renovation, addition, and interiors, as well as multi-family design and interiors and commercial interiors, Mark Williams and his team have developed a diverse portfolio of work spanning many building types.
As described by the following galleries, the MWDA team is comfortable designing warm, livable, classically modern spaces, as well as carefully tailored traditionally inspired designs. Each client is different and has a unique program of requirements and needs. The following photos represent a small sample of our work.

A variety of spaces from Kitchens to Bathrooms, Living to Dining Rooms. Each exemplifying a commitment to our client’s specific needs, personality, and lifestyle.

We believe that spaces should be multifaceted. By introducing furnishings, lighting, and accessories of different eras and styles, the resulting space feels “complete” but remains versatile enough to accommodate subtle alteration through the years…

A small selection of Kitchens. Unlike any other space in the home, in the Kitchen form must follow function. Fortunately the two are not mutually exclusive, we believe that function does not have to exist at the expense of form.

The bath is a highly personal space, and it is an environment that we utilize virtually every day. More than any room other in the home, a bath environment should both calm and rejuvenate you.
