The Louver Shop shutters are carefully handcrafted. We use the finest of harvested American hardwoods, or environmentally sensitive virgin vinyl. Each shutter passes through the hands of six inspectors. 68% of our business comes from repeat customers or referrals.

Wood shutters are great! But sometimes you need the verstility and, yes, the strength of a man-made product. Our Louverwood Plantation Shutter fills that need. This solid vinyl, 1 1/8” thick plantation shutter is an excellent choice for locales where high humidity and heat are concerns. And, as with all of our shutter products, you have your choice of paint finishes as well as any of the options that are available with all of our shutter products.
Sometimes you want that bigger shutter…. Sometimes you NEED that bigger shutter. Our Regal Plantation Shutter is that shutter. All of the features that our Classic Shutter has are available with our Regal Plantation Shutter as well. And, because we do not use subcontractors to install your shutters, we can install these shutters to your preference, not to some unseen manufacturer’s specifications (And since we ARE the manufacturer, your specifications are our specifications!).
Available only at The Louver Shop, this is our most popular shutter. This shutter, with its lower 3/4 “ profile is economical and it allows for more innovative installations than the more typical 1 1/8 “ thick plantation shutter. This all-wood shutter is available with 2 ½”, 3 ½”, or 4 ½” louvers. And unlike other manufacturers, The Louver Shop doesn’t limit your choices with this, our “budget” shutter. You have all of our options available to you: paint or stain, any frame or any hanging strip, or any specialty feature that you may desire!
The first shutter that we offered so many years ago when we began this company is still going strong. The all wood Traditional Shutter with its smaller 1 1/4 “ louvers is what many people visualize when you mention “shutters”. As well as offering all of the finishing and installation options that we tirelessly promote for all of our shutter products, we also offer this shutter with wooden Raised Panel inserts or as an Open-Framed shutter that you can supply your own inserts for!
Thirty-five years ago I don’t think anyone had windows that were anything but square. But, somebody, somewhere put a laser and a computer on a saw blade and now there are windows of every shape and size imaginable in homes all across America. Because of this, The Louver Shop has learned how to cover all of these shapes and sizes! We have hired experts from the window making industry to guide us in making shutters and sunbursts to fit these myriad of different openings. Equally important, our installers have shown us how to create aesthetically pleasing installations for all of these different types of doors and windows.
