November 11: The Savannah Food & Wine Festival kicks off with a “farm to table” wine dinner hosted by charity partner Bethesda Academy. Other highlights from the weeklong foodie fete include a Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner featuring Steven Satterfield, a cooking class with Hugh Acheson, wine stroll along River Street and a Jazz & Bubbles Sunday brunch. November 13: Janus et Cie is hosting an informal cocktail reception from 5-7 p.m. to welcome Lisa Robison and Kim Turner of non-profit Dwell with Dignity to the local design community. Through the help of interior designer and volunteers, Dwell helps families escape poverty and homelessness through nurturing and inspiring design. November 14: To celebrate its expanded space at ADAC, Holland & Company is throwing a grand opening party from 4-8 p.m. where guests can mix and mingle with high-profile designers like Julian Chichester and Bobby McApline. The latter will also be signing copies of his acclaimed book, The Home Within Us. New collections from Aerin Lauder and Robert Brown will also be on display. November 14: Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse + Marketplace kicks off with the Moonlight & Mistletoe opening soiree. Staring at 6 p.m., enjoy an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while mingling with this year’s impressive line-up of interiors designers. Cocktail attire required. November 15: The showhouse of the season opens! Presented by Dovetail Homes and benefitting the Southeastern Horticultural Society, this year’s Home for the Holidays features designs by Kay Douglass, Huff-Dewberry, Bill Peace, Allison Womack and many more. On the showhouse’s lower level, “Well-Set” showcases dazzling tabletop displays, plus other inspirations for entertaining such as creative menus, party pantry ideas, hostess dresses and more. $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Purchase tickets here

November 15: Alan Avery Art Company‘s latest exhibition features more than 18 works from the estate of Thomas Hart Benton, a leader figure of the regionalist art movement that swept the country in the first half of the 20th century. His work will be on display through January 25.  

November 16: This Saturday’s Weekend Workshop at Home for the Holidays is presented by the Southeastern Horticultural Society. Celebrating all things green and growing, highlights from the day will include a “Greening the House” seminar and children’s flower arranging workshop. Click here for more details.
