Shop Talk: Sarah Cyrus Home
Last week, AH&L stopped by to visit one of the Westside’s newest storefronts—and Stanton Home Furnishing’s new next-door neighbor—Sarah Cyrus Home, which offers shoppers one-of-a-kind consignment finds sourced largely from interior designers. Catering to industry professionals and design enthusiasts alike, the showroom offers an eclectic mix of vintage and modern antiques, as well as designer brands such as Restoration Hardware and Ralph Lauren. “We try to be that resource for interior designers when they need to get value back out of something,” says Cyrus. “And we’ve been really fortunate to get a wide range of customers, from interior designers to folks in the area that are shopping for their homes.”
It’s a diverse assortment of clients to please, but with a background that includes managing a luxury showroom at ADAC, both Cyrus and her business partner Allyn Stuart are well-versed in design inventory. And, located in the heart of the Westside, they’re in good company. “This is probably the most exciting area of Atlanta to be in right now,” Cyrus says. “With Stanton Home, Provenance Antiques, Lewis and Sheron and Star Provisions one mile down the road, we could not have found a better location. It’s like all of the pieces came together at the right time.”

We’re thrilled that decorator, product designer and author Nate Berkus will be one of the speakers at the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles-sponsored Design Bloggers Conference. Berkus will join Bunny Williams, Alexa Hampton, Brian Patrick Flynn and Marcus Sheridan this March at the fifth annual conference, which brings together interior design bloggers, new media trendsetters and interior design industry leaders for a two-day event at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta. Attendees will mingle with industry leaders and creative while learning how to engage audiences through new media business models and marketing channels. Read more about the event in the Design Bloggers Conference program, which you’ll find in our February issue.
