What is the Beltline?

If you've been reading about the proposed Beltline in the news lately and how the project might be in jeopardy, but don't really know what it is or where's it's going, you are not alone. I'm there with you.
But The Beltline Partnership answers a lot of questions. Lately, I have been in many parts of town—from Midtown and Southwest Atlanta to the WestSide—and I have seen lots of signs in yards in support of the project. Now, with the map on the web site, I can finally see how all of these disparate neighborhoods might be linked. It's pretty cool.
