The SCAD effect

If you haven't yet paid a visit to Atlantic Station, the recent opening of West Elm,
the Williams-Sonoma affilliated home furnishings branch should give you
good reason. The store recently launched a partnership with SCAD
(Savannah College of Art and Design) to display and sell original
photography by three of the school's top grads, Chia Chong, Simone
Costa, and Mark Maheney. I'll be stopping by a cocktail reception there
tonight in hopes of scoring a piece or two through the silent auction.
