Council member Norwood certainly has her work cut out for her,
particularly along the Peachtree corridor, where buildings
such as 3344 Peachtree (left), which will be topped by the Sovereign residences, and Robert Stern's nearly 50-story Mansion on Peachtree
promise to change the future of Atlanta living as we know it. I'd be
interested in hearing more about the task force's survey of public
attitudes on view protection, although I'd be surprised if that would
be instrumental in directing regulations against developers. Is
establishing view corridors with predesignated views a fair option?
