To Market!

Let me start out by saying that the new bus terminal at High Point? Fantabulous! Besides my umbrella, I couldn't have asked for anything better on this rain-filled day at market. And as for the product introductions this fall, you ask? Yes, they are equally fantabulous. Case in point: Baker's addition of signature lighting pieces to its Collector's Edition (one of my favorite designs, the Parker Webbed Sconce, is at left). Each piece is hand-crafted by artisans in Charleston still employing rarely-practiced old-world techniques. (You are indeed a designer if you can guess from which outpost these artisans hail!)  But the best part? This particular collection will be in showrooms by the first of next month. Now, that's what I call an introduction.
