Friday morning news

Text: By Elizabeth

This morning I'm headed to the Carter Center to hear former President Jimmy Carter speak about his new, controversial book Palestine Peace not Apartheid.
Look for daughter Amy's Atlanta bungalow to be featured in an issue
this Spring. In other news...retirement. Real estate tycoon Tom Cousins
is stepping down from Cousins Properties; and Carey Carter is resigning as co-chair of Atlanta's extravagant "Fashion Cares" charity event. Here at the AH&L office, far from retiring is our new assistant editor, Kelly Kunkel, who comes to us from Better Homes & Gardens
in Iowa (see blog header, far left). If you haven't already met her,
you'll be seeing her around town and hearing from her on this blog.
Welcome, Kelly!
