Tutto e Delizioso—Everything is Delicious. It's a mantra engraved over the wood-burning rotisserie at Veni Vidi Vici—and one that's evident in each dish Chef Jamie Adams creates at this elegant Italian restaurant in Midtown.

Veni Vidi Vici is a convivial, relaxed restaurant serving simple, authentic regional Italian cuisine. Chef Jamie's approach to cooking is defined by simple elegance. He focuses on using the freshest, highest quality seasonal ingredients to present guests with his very best.

Chef Jamie's passion for Italian food began early in his career and led him to move to Italy and train in some of the country's most celebrated restaurants, learning secrets from many accomplished chefs. Today, Chef Jamie delights in sharing Italian cuisine with his guests at Veni Vidi Vici where the varied menu offers something for everyone.

"Adams spent five years working in Italy, and it shows—[his] menu is rife with food Italians actually eat: semi-spicy braised veal meatballs with a near velvety texture; tender risotto with spit-roasted rabbit and meaty porcini mushrooms; wide pappardelle with duck in a sauce that smacks of rich, tomato-y BologneseÖî noted restaurant critic Meridith Ford of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Indeed, the wood-burning rotisserie is a focal point of the dining room and menu alike. Slowly roasted meats including chicken, suckling pig, duck and rabbit, are flavorful and popular ingredients in daily specials, homemade ravioli and risottos.

"A true Italian dining experience involves all the senses," says Chef Jamie. "Flavors, aromas, perfectly paired wines—not to mention great companyóare central ingredients."

Chef Jamie calls simplicity in food preparation a key element to perfectly pairing food and wine—something the staff at Veni Vidi Vici is passionate about. He can't imagine cooking without fresh herbs and produce (like summer's beautiful tomatoes!), and uses nature's bounty as inspiration for specials and menu items.
