20 Under 40 Reception

Every year in our March issue, AH&L recognizes the 20 emerging experts in local design, picking the best of the best for style contributions, design expertise and this year, even for setting the precedent in environmentally friendly design. The classes of 2006, 2007 and 2008 were honored March 6 at The Gables Antiques on Miami Circle, at a glamorous fête catered by A Legendary Event, which totaled nearly 200 guests in attendance. Among this year's honorees were Jessica Garcia of sustainable design firm DES-SYN, Staffan Svenson of modern design/build firm Dencity and Jennifer Dwyer for her top design blog, The Peak of Chic.
