Cashiers Designer Showhouse

From August 22 through August 30, Interior Designers representing the Southeastern region will not only bring trending design to Cashiers but will again create the magic that is The Cashiers Designer Showhouse. Leading area landscapers are involved in redefining the areas surrounding the home and in turn creating serene and evocative late summer mountain gardens for Showhouse strolling.
2015 Serenbe Designer Showhouse
September 11–October 4, Thursdays – Sundays
10748 Serenbe Lane, Chattahoochee Hills, GA
The low country-style, 3,700-square-foot home is designed by architect James P. Curran, and features a timber frame, a broad wood-shake shingle roof and French doors leading to a spacious back porch with views of Grange Lake. Thirteen designers transform this lakefront home into a place of creativity, beauty and inspiration.
Proceeds benefit the Art Farm at Serenbe.
September 28 – October 1

During this annual event series, enjoy presentations, demonstrations and showroom events. On September 30, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles presents designers Lindsay Coral Harper, Chad James, Margaret Kirkland and Mallory Mathison for a panel discussion on enlivening client’s homes with exceptional materials, bold colors and character-rich pieces. The discussion will be moderated by Editor-in-Chief Elizabeth Ralls. Following the presentation, join the designers and AH&L in the Jerry Pair showroom for a cocktail reception and to explore its new couture textile line, Ankasa, derived from and inspired by the high-end fashion industry.
Antiques at the Gardens, Birmingham

Opening Day of the 2015 Home for the Holidays, Atlanta’s favorite wintertime tradition. Nineteen designers will come together to transform this new, 12,000 sq ft home into room after room of inspiration – complete with holiday décor. This annual event showcases some of the region’s most talented designers. Benefitting the Children’s Learning Gardens of the Southeastern Horticultural Society, this is the perfect holiday experience.
