ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Any completed, occupied residential kitchen,located in the greater Atlanta area. The project may not have been published in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles or any other publication prior to the contest. Each project may be entered only once.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT
Each submission must include a separate, completed entry form, and the following listed items. Please make copies of all materials and slides; entries become the property of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles.

• Submit a half-page summary of your kitchen entry (include its distinctive features and why you think it should be published).
• Send up to 10 digital images. Slides and prints will not be accepted. You may include "before" shots, but these are not necessary.
• Submit simple, easy-to-read floor plans on letter-size (8 1/2x11) paper for each entry. “Before” floor plans are required for renovated kitchens. Add dimensions for finished wall surfaces. Fixtures and adjoining rooms must be identified. Size category is based on the “after” floor plan.
• Complete anonymity is required on all presentation material. Please omit names of all entrants, clients or participating parties on all materials other than the entry form.
• One award is presented per winning entry. If project is submitted by more than one person, designate which is to receive the award.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Winners will be selected on the basis of aesthetic and functional excellence, originality, appropriateness and quality. One will be chosen as “Kitchen of the Year.”

PUBLICATION OF WINNING ENTRIES
Award-winning projects must be available to photograph in October 2007 for publication in the January 2008 issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. Projects may not be published in another publication for six months after that. Homeowner may request anonymity but must agree to make residence available during business hours for additional photography.
