Exquisite, artful cabinetry hardware makes its debut, care of Atlanta’s kitchen and bath expert Matthew Quinn

Like his new collection of cabinetry hardware and signature accessories, Matthew Quinn’s stunning ADAC West showroom is all about the details.

Matthew Quinn is a visionary; custom creations are his hallmark. As principal of Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio, he’s been known to design every last detail of a room, right down to the cabinetry hardware. Thus, it seems a natural progression that he has now taken the next step. The Matthew Quinn Collection officially launched on October 2, debuting with a showroom full of dazzling hardware plus the promise of taking customization—and luxury—to an entirely new level.

Inside the boutique-like showroom at ADAC West, customers can look forward to a Tiffany-like experience. Quinn’s hand-picked collection of high-end hardware is displayed and presented more like fine jewelry than anything utilitarian. It’s appropriate given the products, among which are Marjorie Skouras’ gemstone knobs made of semiprecious stones and the works of Carl Martinez, who is truly a jewelry designer. “His pieces are works of art,” says Quinn. “He loves to use rock crystal, ivory, wild-colored resin, 24-karat gold—beautiful materials.”

In fact, for this impressive assemblage, Quinn used his discerning eye to look the world over—choosing some designs as close as his own drawing board, others by artists he respects as far away as Australia and Argentina. “What’s so incredible is that most of the pieces can be customized,” he says. “There are ways to inlay materials that are specific to any project. It can be a log cabin in North Carolina, an Arts and Crafts house in Chicago, an all-glass home in California, even a residence in Dubai.”

Eventually, the showroom will be a point of display for the entire Matthew Quinn Collection, which—in addition to superb hardware—will include his custom bathtubs, sinks, faucets and hoods. Individuality will continue to be at the core of each piece. Still, even those customized to the nth degree will all have one thing in common: They’re sure to express Quinn’s luxurious point of view.
