In the heart of downtown Duluth, the sprawling neighborhood just northeast of Atlanta on I-85, kids can run through a huge fountain in the summer or skate in the temporary ice rink in the winter. Outdoor concert series and movies also entertain crowds throughout the summer as well as the restaurants and shops that line the area year-round. Probably more well-known is the Gwinnett Arena and Convention Center at Gwinnett Center, home to the Gwinnett Gladiators hockey team and the Gwinnett Philharmonic, and host to national headliner concerts and shows throughout the year. The area also hosts national golf tournaments at the Atlanta Athletic Club and Sugarloaf Country Club. The community of Sugarloaf is home to many of Atlanta’s celebrities, including Braves players and hip hop artists. Duluth residences range from older, starter homes to million-dollar neighborhoods.
